Residents in select U.S. states can add their driver\u2019s license or state ID to the Wallet app on the iPhone<\/a> and Apple Watch<\/a>, allowing digital proof of identity or age at participating airports, businesses, and apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The feature is now available to residents of West Virginia. To add an ID, users can open the Wallet app, tap the plus icon in the top-right corner, select Driver\u2019s License or State ID, and follow the on-screen instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The feature requires an iPhone 8 or later running iOS 16.5 or newer, or an Apple Watch Series 4 or later running watchOS 9.5 or newer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
