One of the most significant upgrades is InstaFrame 2.0, an enhanced shooting mode exclusive to the X5 and its large 1\/1.28-inch sensor. The goal is straightforward: faster framing, smoother tracking, and fewer missed moments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The standout new feature is Follow View, which can now track anyone in the frame\u2014not just the person holding the invisible selfie stick. This is especially useful for skiing, group travel shots, and action-heavy vlogs, where the subject isn\u2019t always behind the camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

InstaFrame 2.0 also supports 4K flat video output at 30fps and uses adaptive tone mapping to deliver balanced, share-ready footage even in low-light conditions. With 360\u00b0 video backup enabled, the camera simultaneously records a quick-to-share flat video and a full 5.7K 360-degree video, offering flexibility in post-production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To reduce the need for extra gear, Insta360 has added a virtual joystick for live preview and a virtual gimbal with pitch lock, follow, and FPV modes. This delivers gimbal-like smoothness without requiring a physical stabilizer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
