HP<\/a> is preparing to launch the Eliteboard G1a as part of its business-focused lineup. At first glance, it looks like a standard full-size QWERTY keyboard with a number pad, but inside it houses an entire Windows PC. This includes an AMD Ryzen processor, memory, storage, along with built-in microphones and speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once connected to a compatible monitor via USB-C, the Eliteboard G1a powers on and functions as a complete Windows desktop system. The keyboard features two USB-C ports, allowing users to connect peripherals or supply power if the monitor does not support power delivery. HP will also offer a version with a built-in battery for added flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the concept may seem unconventional compared to a laptop, HP positions the Eliteboard G1a for business environments where portability and shared workstations matter. Employees can carry a compact keyboard containing their entire PC and simply plug into available monitors at different desks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
