According to\u00a0Connor Hayes<\/strong>, Meta’s Vice President of Product for Generative AI, these AI bots will exist on social media platforms just like regular accounts. They’ll have profiles, bios, pictures, and most importantly, the ability to generate and share content powered by AI. Essentially, these bots will interact with you\u2014replying to messages, engaging in stories, and creating content.

AI Bots: Changing the Social Media Game<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Meta is leaning heavily into AI bots<\/strong> to boost user engagement, especially as competition from TikTok<\/strong> and YouTube<\/strong> heats up. These platforms are hugely popular with younger audiences, so Meta is hoping that AI will bring something new to the table and keep users coming back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July<\/strong>, Meta launched AI Studio<\/strong>, a tool that lets users create their own AI characters.
