While&nbsp;<strong>TikTok has denied these claims<\/strong>, the ban resulted in the app being&nbsp;<strong>removed from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, following his inauguration on&nbsp;<strong>January 20<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>US President Donald Trump<\/strong>&nbsp;signed an&nbsp;<strong>executive order delaying the full enforcement<\/strong>&nbsp;of the ban. The company is now offering&nbsp;<strong>Android Package Kits (APKs)<\/strong>&nbsp;directly from its website, allowing users to&nbsp;<strong>install the app manually<\/strong>&nbsp;through a process known as&nbsp;<strong>sideloading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an official statement posted to its&nbsp;<strong>TikTok Policy account on X<\/strong>, the company explained:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re enhancing ways for our community to continue using TikTok by making Android Package Kits available&#8230; so that our US Android users can download our app and create, discover, and connect on TikTok.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>&gt;&gt;&gt;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteryone.co\/detail\/1747121\/BL-L5K\">BL-L5K<\/a>&nbsp;for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteryone.co\/brand\/4\/Nokia\">Nokia<\/a>&nbsp;105+ (2022) TA-1565<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What About iPhone Users?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike Android,&nbsp;<strong>Apple does not allow sideloading<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>iPhones or iPads<\/strong>. This means that iOS users cannot&nbsp;<strong>manually install TikTok<\/strong>&nbsp;through alternative sources.
