Apple is expanding its hearing health features for\u00a0AirPods Pro 2<\/strong>\u00a0users to\u00a0Australia<\/strong> ,\u00a0Brazil<\/strong> ,\u00a0Saudi<\/strong> Arabia<\/strong> ,\u00a0Colombia<\/strong>, and\u00a0Malaysia<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The core of these updates is the Hearing Test<\/strong>, which users can take to check for any hearing loss. If the test detects hearing issues, users can then activate a clinical-grade Hearing Aid<\/strong> feature. This feature adjusts the sound around the user, amplifying voices and sounds for better clarity. It can also fine-tune music<\/strong>, videos<\/strong>, and phone calls<\/strong> to optimal sound levels using a personalized hearing profile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another major addition is Loud Sound Reduction<\/strong>, designed to protect the user\u2019s hearing by minimizing exposure to loud noise. The AirPods<\/a> Pro 2 use their H2 chip to passively reduce loud sounds 48,000 times per second, providing a smoother listening experience, especially in noisy environments. Loud Sound Reduction<\/strong> is automatically activated in Transparency<\/strong> and Adaptive Audio<\/strong> listening modes, ensuring hearing protection is always on when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users in the supported countries can access these features through the Settings app<\/strong> on their iPhone<\/a> once the AirPods Pro 2 are connected.
