Gemini has launched a fully optimized iPad app that replaces the previous letterboxed version. This new update allows the app to span the entire width of both landscape and portrait screens, providing a more user-friendly and immersive experience. It mirrors the UI found on Android tablets and gemini.google.com on the web.

In addition to the iPad app update, Gemini has expanded its Audio Overviews feature. Initially launched in English in March, this feature is now available in over 45 languages globally. Audio Overviews provide a podcast-style discussion of files uploaded by users and offer Deep Research reports following the recent NotebookLM expansion.
