GoPro has officially opened pre-orders for its latest product, the Fluid AI Pro gimbal, following its announcement last month. The smartphone and camera gimbal is available exclusively in black and priced at $229 on GoPro’s official website. Retail availability is expected in early November, though an exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
Unlike the Karma Grip launched nine years ago, the Fluid AI Pro offers broad compatibility, supporting not only GoPro Hero 13, 12, 11, and 10 Black action cameras but also smartphones and select compact point-and-shoot cameras. With a maximum payload capacity of 400 grams (0.88 lbs), it can easily handle flagship smartphones such as the Vivo X200 Ultra (229 g), Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (218 g), and iPhone 17 Pro (233 g).

The gimbal integrates AI-powered subject tracking, enabling smooth automatic framing during recording. It also features an integrated fill light and a built-in display for quick access to essential camera settings. GoPro claims the Fluid AI Pro delivers up to 18 hours of battery life on a single charge and can function as a power bank to recharge connected devices.
Users can enhance their shooting experience with the GoPro Fluid app, which offers advanced creative tools for photo and video capture.
