OnePlus has introduced the OnePlus Ace 6T in China, the latest device in its mid-range Ace series. This model is expected to launch in other markets as the OnePlus 15R.
The Ace 6T is the first smartphone to debut with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Details about the processor remain limited, and its position relative to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and the previous Snapdragon 8 Elite is not yet clear.
The device features a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Its rear camera system includes a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide unit, while the front houses a 32 MP selfie camera. Additional specifications include IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, vapor chamber cooling, and an 8,000 mAh battery with 100 W fast charging. The phone ships with ColorOS 16 in China.

The OnePlus Ace 6T will be offered in black, green, and purple. The metal frame uses micro-arc oxidation similar to the OnePlus 15. The black and green models feature a silky-textured glass back, whereas the purple variant uses a fiberglass back.
The upcoming OnePlus 15R is expected to be based on the Ace 6T. The only confirmed difference so far is the absence of the purple color option for the 15R, which appears to retain only the black and green variants.
