The Huawei Mate X7 is set to make its international debut on December 11. Huawei confirmed via Instagram that it will hold a “Flagship Product Launch” event in Dubai, UAE, on that date, where the Mate X7 will be introduced to global markets.

While Huawei has not confirmed the full list of regions receiving the device, only the UAE and Saudi Arabia branches are currently promoting the launch on their official websites. These markets are therefore expected to be the first to offer the Mate X7 internationally.
The Mate X7 measures 9.5 mm when folded and 4.5 mm when unfolded. Weighing 235 grams, it is 4 grams lighter than its predecessor while retaining an aluminum frame. The device carries IP58 and IP59 ratings, indicating dust protection and resistance to splashes and high-pressure water jets.
The displays have been slightly enlarged: the cover screen is now 6.49 inches with a 20.4:9 aspect ratio, while the inner display measures 8 inches with an 8:7.3 ratio. Both panels are LTPO OLEDs supporting a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and 1,440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The camera system includes a 50 MP RYYB main sensor with a 10-stop variable aperture (f/1.4–4.0) and OIS. The telephoto camera has been upgraded to a 50 MP unit with an f/2.2 aperture and 3.5× optical zoom, accompanied by a 40 MP ultra-wide lens. The device also features two 8 MP selfie cameras—one on the outer display and one on the inner display.
The Mate X7 is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 9030 Pro chipset, the same platform used in the Mate 80 Pro and Mate 80 Pro Max. Early reports suggest the SoC employs a nine-core ARMv8 design with a 2.75 GHz prime core, four performance cores at 2.27 GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.72 GHz. It is available with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.
The device includes a dual-cell silicon-carbon battery with a combined 5,600 mAh capacity, supporting 66 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. It ships with HarmonyOS 6 in China and offers satellite communication capabilities.
