Honor has confirmed that its upcoming clamshell foldable smartphone, the Magic V Flip 2, will launch in China on August 21. The company has also shared the phone’s design and color options, and further details have now emerged through a new leak.
According to the tipster, the Magic V Flip 2 will feature a 6.82-inch internal LTPO AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The external screen will be a 4-inch Full HD+ LTPO AMOLED panel, also with 120Hz refresh rate.
The device will include a 200 MP primary rear camera accompanied by a 50 MP ultrawide sensor, while the front-facing camera will be a 50 MP sensor.

Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, backed by a 5,500 mAh battery. Charging options will include 80W wired and 50W wireless support. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner will provide biometric security.
The phone will measure 15.5 mm when closed and 6.9 mm when unfolded, with a total weight of 204 grams. Honor will offer the Magic V Flip 2 in four color variants, including a special edition developed in collaboration with Professor Jimmy Choo.
