Oscal Launches the Tank 1: A Rugged Smartphone with a 20,000 mAh Battery and Secondary Display

Oscal has officially launched the Tank 1, which is now available through the company’s online store. The smartphone is offered in two configurations: 12 GB RAM / 512 GB storage for $429 and 16 GB RAM / 512 GB storage for $468. After the launch period, prices will increase to $520 and $559, respectively.

The Tank 1 measures 29.5 mm thick and weighs 640 g. Its size accommodates a 20,000 mAh battery, rated for up to 20 hours of gaming or 45 days of standby time. Charging is handled via USB-C at up to 55 W.

The device features an IP69K-certified waterproof housing with two 170-lumen LED flashlights on the top, a customizable side button, and a rear camera module with a 2-inch secondary display, allowing users to take selfies with the main camera.

The camera setup includes a 64 MP f/1.8 main sensor (1/2-inch), a 20 MP f/2.2 night vision camera (1/2.78-inch), and a 50 MP front camera. The 6.78-inch display offers a 1080p+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 700 nits brightness.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, designed to deliver solid mid-range performance.
