DJI has released version 1.19.0 of its Fly app, introducing new intelligent features and full compatibility with the company’s latest compact drone, the DJI Neo 2. The update enhances ease of use, control, and creativity for pilots, particularly those using the Neo 2.

The Fly app now fully supports the DJI Neo 2, offering seamless connectivity with RC-N2, RC-N3, and RC 2 controllers. Users can also operate the drone directly from a smartphone via Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for a physical remote.

Version 1.19.0 brings several new flight functions designed for the Neo 2:
- SelfieShot: captures selfies from multiple angles with a single tap.
- Gesture controls: allows pilots to recall the drone or adjust its position using hand movements.
- Customizable mode sets: includes creative presets such as MasterShots and Cycling Follow for producing dynamic footage.
- Freer ActiveTrack: enables flexible switching of tracking directions during flight for improved framing control.
Additionally, DJI has enhanced voice recognition capabilities, continuing its push toward more intuitive, voice-driven drone operation.
