Xiaomi Launches Global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ With 200MP Camera and 100W Fast Charging

Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 15 series in global markets, with the Note 15 Pro+ positioned as the flagship model. While its design remains largely identical to the Chinese version, the global variant introduces several notable hardware changes.

The most significant differences appear in the camera system. In China, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The global version, however, switches to a dual-camera layout, removing the telephoto lens altogether. It also upgrades the main camera to a 200-megapixel HPE sensor, while retaining the same 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Battery capacity has also been adjusted. The Chinese model packs a large 7,000mAh battery, whereas the global variant comes with a slightly smaller 6,500mAh cell. Despite the reduction, the international version offers faster charging, supporting 100W fast charging compared to 90W on the China-exclusive model.

Other specifications on the global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ largely mirror those of the Chinese version. The phone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. Xiaomi has opted for Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for screen protection instead of Dragon Crystal Glass.

Additional highlights include a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, multiple IP protection ratings, and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is available in three color options. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at €499, while the top-end variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs €549. Pre-orders will open on January 5, 2026.
