The Redmi Turbo 5 Max is set to become one of the first smartphones powered by MediaTek’s newly unveiled Dimensity 9500s chipset, which promises flagship-level performance. Alongside this announcement, the phone’s full design has now been revealed.

Official renders show that the rear design closely resembles the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. The back features a dual-camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor, which is likely the same f/1.5 unit used in the Turbo 4 Pro, accompanied by a secondary camera expected to be an ultra-wide lens.
On the front, the device sports a display with thin, symmetrical bezels on all four sides, consistent with Xiaomi’s recent premium models. The selfie camera is placed in a centered punch-hole cutout at the top of the screen.

Xiaomi has also confirmed a major specification: the Turbo 5 Max will be equipped with a massive 9,000mAh battery, a significant upgrade over its predecessor. Thanks to the efficiency of the new chipset and system optimizations, the company claims it can deliver endurance comparable to a 10,000mAh battery, making it the largest-capacity battery ever used in a Xiaomi smartphone.
While the exact launch date has not yet been announced, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max is expected to debut in China soon and later reach global markets under the name Poco X8 Pro Max.
