Ayaneo has officially revealed the full specifications and pricing for its flagship Windows handheld, the Ayaneo Next 2, during a livestream on February 8.

The device will come in two processor options: a base model equipped with AMD’s Ryzen AI Max 385 and a higher-end version using the Ryzen AI Max+ 395. RAM and storage configurations will differ depending on the chosen processor, while all other hardware features remain consistent across the lineup.
As previously confirmed, the Next 2 features a 9.06-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1504 and a 165Hz refresh rate. It includes an 8-way D-pad, a round smart touchpad on each side, and front-facing speakers.
Ayaneo also highlighted the presence of TMR joysticks with adjustable torque, claiming this to be the first implementation of its kind on a Windows handheld. The device further incorporates dual-mode trigger locks, four rear buttons, an advanced dual-fan cooling system, and a 116Wh battery for extended playtime.

The Next 2 will launch on Indiegogo next week, offering early bird pricing before moving to higher retail prices once the crowdfunding campaign concludes.
The early bird pricing is as follows:
- – The Ryzen AI Max 385 model with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage will be priced at $1,799, increasing to $1,999 at retail.
- – The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 version with 64GB RAM and 1TB storage will start at $2,299, later retailing for $2,699.
- – A top-tier Ryzen AI Max+ 395 configuration featuring 128GB RAM and 2TB storage will launch at $3,499, rising to $4,299 once early bird slots end.
All announced variants will be offered in Polar Black, as it seems Ayaneo has shelved the white version that appeared in promotional images.
