The OnePlus 15, expected to debut in October as the successor to the OnePlus 13, has surfaced in new leaks suggesting notable changes to its hardware. Certification for the global model has already appeared, but specifications remain unofficial.

According to @OnePlusClub on X, the device will feature a triple rear camera setup. The primary sensor is said to be a 50 MP unit with an f/1.8 aperture and 1/1.56-inch size, smaller than the OnePlus 13’s 50 MP 1/1.43-inch sensor with an f/1.6 aperture. This change may impact low-light performance and detail capture.
The telephoto camera is also expected to shift from the OnePlus 13’s 50 MP Sony LYT-600 (1/1.95-inch, f/2.6, 3x optical zoom) to a smaller 50 MP ISOCELL JN5 (1/2.75-inch, f/2.8, 3x optical zoom). The ultra-wide camera may remain the same 50 MP ISOCELL JN5 found in the predecessor.

Another significant change is the removal of Hasselblad color tuning, with OnePlus set to rely on its in-house DetailMax Engine for image processing following the end of its Hasselblad partnership.
Reports also suggest a smaller haptic motor, downgraded from the AAC CSA+0916Turbo (602 mm²) in the OnePlus 13 to the AAC ESA1016 (560 mm²) in the OnePlus 15, potentially resulting in weaker vibration feedback.
As these details are based on leaks and unofficial sources, confirmation from OnePlus is still pending.
