Nine years after the Karma Grip, GoPro is returning to the gimbal market with the Fluid Pro AI, launching on October 21. The 3-axis stabilizer introduces AI-powered subject tracking and is positioned against rivals such as the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P, Insta360 Flow Pro, and Hohem iSteady V3 Ultra.

Unlike the Karma Grip, which supported only GoPro action cameras, the Fluid Pro AI includes interchangeable mounts for GoPro cameras, compact point-and-shoots, and smartphones. With a maximum payload of 400 grams, it is compatible with most flagship phones, including the Galaxy S25 Ultra (218 g) and iPhone 17 Pro Max (233 g).

Key features include intelligent tracking that locks onto a person’s face or body, an integrated fill light, and a built-in display for camera controls. Battery life reaches up to 18 hours, and the gimbal can function as a power bank.
The Fluid Pro AI is priced at $229.99, higher than most competing AI gimbals, but offers longer endurance. Availability begins October 21.
